These are the questions Coquitlam owners actually ask before they let someone else run their marketing. The answers are deliberately short. Missing a question? Ask it by call, text or email.
Frequently asked questions
How much does done-for-you marketing cost?
Plans run from $1,999 a month month-to-month, or $1,499 a month on annual billing, plus 5% GST. The Elite plan is $3,999 or $2,999 annually, and Enterprise is $7,999 or $5,999 annually. Ad spend is extra and paid to Google directly.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Every plan is month to month, and 30 days' notice ends it. Paying for a year lowers the monthly rate, but nobody has to.
How long before I see results?
Search ads can bring enquiries within weeks of launch. Local search and website work usually build over several months. We report monthly so you can see the trend rather than guess.
We tried an agency before and got nothing. Why would this be different?
Ask any agency, including us, three things: who owns the accounts, what exactly happens each week, and what number the report is built around. We put all three in writing, report cost per enquiry monthly, and keep every account in your name.
Who owns my website, profile and ad account?
You do. The domain, website, Google Business Profile, Google Ads account and analytics stay in your name. We work inside them as managers, and you keep everything if you leave.
How much of my time will this take?
Usually a 20-minute monthly review plus quick replies when we need a photo, a price or approval. That is the core promise of a done-for-you service: your hours go back to the business.
What do the monthly reports show?
One page covering calls, texts and emails by source, ad spend, cost per enquiry, profile activity, new reviews and the changes we made that month. No padding with charts nobody reads.
Can you promise rankings or leads?
No one honestly can, because Google controls the rankings and many local factors are outside anyone's hands. We commit to the work in the plan and to reporting the results plainly.
Are you a contractor or a lead-selling service?
Neither. We do not install, repair or service anything, and we do not sell your enquiries to anyone else. Every enquiry goes to you, under your name.
My business is brand new. Can you help?
Yes. Our launch service sets up your name consistency, Google profile, first website and a small ad test in the right order, with a checklist for licensing tasks you handle yourself.
Do you work outside Coquitlam?
Yes, where your crews already go. Most Coquitlam plans include Port Coquitlam, Port Moody and nearby parts of Burnaby or New Westminster when you serve them regularly.
Can you write ads or pages in Korean, Mandarin or Persian?
It can be discussed for your account. If a second language would reach your customers, we scope it in the proposal, including how translations are checked.
Is the first conversation free?
Yes. If you run an eligible trades business, your first 30-minute consultation costs nothing and sits outside any plan.
Before you sign: the three questions that matter most
The safest way to hire any marketing help is to get three things in writing. These protect you whether you choose us or someone else:
- Who owns each account? Domain, website, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and analytics should all be in your name.
- What happens each week? A vague "ongoing optimisation" line hides a lot. Ask for the actual task list.
- What number is the report built around? If it is impressions or rankings rather than enquiries and cost per enquiry, be careful.
Our pricing page explains what is stated publicly and what goes into your written proposal.
Price, contracts and what is included
Our plans follow the Trades.Agency pricing, from $1,999 a month on month-to-month terms, with lower rates for annual billing and 5% GST on top. You can cancel with 30 days' notice.
What each plan covers in detail is set out in your proposal. As a guide, local search, website upkeep and ad management can be combined in different ways, described on the services page.
Timelines and realistic expectations
Different channels move at different speeds. Ads are fastest, profile improvements come next, and website and search work compound over months.
A useful rule: judge ads after a full month, the profile after a quarter, and the website and search work after six to twelve months. The published results from our HVAC work show the kind of time frames involved, such as Roma Heating & Cooling's 400% organic traffic growth over 12 months.
If you tried an agency before
Many owners come to us after a bad experience: locked accounts, reports nobody understood, or months of fees with nothing to show. That history is a reason to be more demanding, not less.
Ask for access to everything from day one. Ask to see the search terms your ads appeared for. Ask what was changed last week. A done-for-you service should make your life easier, not more mysterious. If you want an independent second opinion before choosing anyone, Coquitlam.Business offers hourly business consulting.
Reports and accounts, in practice
Each month you receive one page of numbers and a short note in plain sentences. The page shows enquiries by source, what the ads cost, cost per enquiry, profile activity and new reviews. The note says what we changed and what we plan to change next.
You can log in to your own accounts at any time and see the same data, because the accounts are yours. Many owners never do, and that is fine; the point is that nothing is hidden. If a number in the report looks odd to you, ask, and we will show you where it came from inside the account itself.
Working with a Vancouver-based team
Our head office is in Vancouver, but nothing in a done-for-you plan needs us in your shop. Websites, profiles and ad accounts are run online, and we check results against what searchers in your Coquitlam districts actually see.
What you do need is a quick way to reach us. Call or text when the schedule changes, when you add a service, or when you are fully booked and want ads paused. Email works for photos and longer questions. The areas page explains how we treat each district, so you can see we know the ground.
